How the Mini Course works
This half-day adventure begins at the dive shop where, after checking that you are in good health, our instructors give you a briefing on underwater communication, safety rules and procedures.
After the briefing we head to the boat, and right there our adventure towards the dive sites in Tayrona Natural Park begins. Once on site we practice basic safety skills at shallow depth with your instructor, before heading into open water down to a maximum depth of 12 meters, where you will see the colorful fish and the incredible reefs Tayrona has to offer.
Your instructor stays with you the entire dive, which usually lasts about 45 minutes. So that you enjoy the experience to the fullest we go out in small groups, and that way we take better care of everyone.
