How the Mini Course works

Your first dive, step by step

  1. 01

    Briefing at the dive shop

    We check that you are in good health and our instructors brief you on underwater communication, safety rules and procedures.

  2. 02

    Boat ride to Tayrona

    From Taganga we take the boat to the dive sites of Tayrona National Natural Park.

  3. 03

    Skills at shallow depth

    Once on site you practice basic safety skills with your instructor at your side.

  4. 04

    The dive with your instructor

    You head into open water with the instructor next to you the whole time, among the colorful fish and reefs of Tayrona.

  5. 05

    Refreshment and photos

    There is a refreshment between dives, and you take home the underwater photos of the day.

No. The Mini Course is for people who have never dived: you get a briefing, practice skills at shallow depth and go down with your instructor at your side. Already certified? The Fun Dives are for you.

SDI (Scuba Diving International): our instructors are SDI certified and the Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster certifications are SDI, valid all over the planet.

For the Mini Course and the Fun Dives, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are not refundable. For the courses, ask us when you book.
